DISTRIBUTION AND SALE OF E-BOOK IN THE ELECTRONIC BOOKSTORES OF THE WORLD

AKAKIA cooperates with the international e-book promotion platform www.publishdrive.com which covers its placement in all the major electronic e-book bookstores in the world. (Eg Google Play Books, iBookstore, (iTunes), Kobo, Odilo.es, Scribd, 24symbols.com, Barnes & Noble, Bookline.hu, Bookmate.com, casadellibro.com, ciando.com, CNPeReading, e -letoltes, E-sentral.com, Ekonyv.hu, Elefant.ro, Gardners.com, ipubs.hu, Libri.hu, Lira.hu, overdrive.com, playster.com, redshelf.com, rockstand.in, Tolino , tookbook.com, tradebit.com, MyEbooks etc.).

(Important note: The availability or non-availability of each book from each online store depends solely on the policy of that store).

In the case of placing the e-book on the international online promotion platform www.publishdrive.com, and for the account management service, the cost is £50 per year.

WHAT DOES THE AUTHOR GAIN FROM THE SALE OF E-BOOK

The selling price of the e-book version of the book is decided by the author, but cannot be less than £3.

As in the case of the printed book, the expenses are bank commissions and a percentage of 50% held by PublishDrive together with the other distributors. After deducting these amounts, AKAKIA holds 30%, and the author receives 70%.

INDICATIVE CALCULATION OF PROFITS FROM SALES OF E-BOOK

In an e-book that will have as a sale price, for example, £8, we will have:

  • £1 bank charges
  • £4 published by PublishDrive
  • £0.9 held by AKAKIA for distribution

Total £5.9

The author, in this case, will receive a profit from the sale of an e-book £ 2.1
