Giota Tsarmpopoulou’s family comes from Karytena of Arcadia, Greece. She finished high school in Athens and studied in the Philosophical department of the University of Athens, Greece.
She has worked as a secondary teacher and as a Head teacher in Gymnasiums and Lyceums of Thessaloniki, Greece. She is the mother of two.
