Dimitris Salapatas has studied Theology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, School of Theology, as well as Byzantine Music at the National College of Music (Athens). He then studied International Relations on a Postgraduate level at Queen Mary, University of London, where he wrote his thesis, examining the question, “Why are Greece and Turkey in dispute over the Aegean Sea and what consequences does it have for both NATO and the EU?” He later did two internships at the: a. Press Office of the Greek Embassy in London and b. The Office of MP Barry Gardiner (at both the local office - Brent - and in Parliament). He is currently undertaking a research on the “Fellowship of St. Alban and St. Sergius and its contribution towards Anglican - Orthodox Relations”, at the University of Winchester. Dimitris has published numerous articles in both English and Greek on various topics and has given talks on various themes, including Anglican-Orthodox Relations (London) and Nationalism vs. Ecumenism (Oxford). The author is currently a Committee Member of the Anglican and Eastern Churches Association (A.E.C.A.), representing the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Thyateira and Great Britain, Committee Member of the Educational Sub-Committee of the Pan-Orthodox Episcopal Assembly for the British Isles and Ireland, Committee Member of the Peloponnesian Association of Great Britain and member of the Fellowship of St. Alban and St. Sergius. He is currently a chanter (Lambadarios) at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral Church of All Saints, Camden Town, London
